ColderICE eCommerce Blog: Biz Minute: How to Extend Your Brand After the Sale

    Hey John,

    Excellent stuff as always, thanks.

I've looked at Endicia, signed up to try, and frankly it confused the hell out of me. I don't mind the PayPal labels too much, as at least I get to include my .com name in the return address, so it's there for the buyer to see.

I go with the business card insert, I have a couple tailored to different niches. Vistaprint. I go with the color front and have special eBay ones with a little DSR notice printed on back.

I did use to use the larger inserts, I believe the size of your 10% off card, though that's when I had my other online shop running.

I love the sticker on the back of the PTouch guy's package--let me know if you find a good source for these (Vistaprint again, perhaps?). That's a great idea.

Final note...small sellers go with handwritten tabs and notes, I'm not willing to shell out for those PTouch refills! It's all about scale, I've got enough little expenses.

    Thanks again, Cliff

Just got this from the folks I ordered from...

    Hi John,

Thank you for your order and the feature on your blog - we loved it!

We've been selling products online since 1998 and have learned some important things along the way - branding is at the top (I hope you liked the reference cards and sticker inside too). I also think you're right on point about the packaging and the importance of products to be packaged professionally - it's the first physical impression the customer has. It's nice to be recognized and know that we're on the right track!

Thank you again and I have a link added from ptouchdirect.com to your blog.

    Thanks,

    Bryan J. Lewis
